Plot Summary

A dark tale of a community of families living in the southern suburbs of Rome. Families are different, but none of them has a happy child and all children's joys are destroyed or defiled by adults. Quiet sadism of fathers, passivity of mothers and anger of children are woven into one contradictory tangle that leads everyone to disaster.
