Plot Summary

Count Ludwig Karnstein, fearing his daughter Laura is possessed by the witch Scirra, hires scholar Friedrich Klaus to investigate the family curse, but the arrival of house-guest Lyuba shifts Laura's devotion toward a dangerous liberation.
